Our youth group sponsors a child in Quito, Ecuador and while our mission group was there we got to meet Oscar, his mother and tutor. We spent part of the day with them at the center of the world and then took him for his first ever McD burger. He liked it!

I don't know if you would remember me but my husband and I briefly worked with New Life in 2007 prior to moving to Chile as missionaries. I happened to stumble onto your daughter-in-law's blog today, and then to yours. We are currently in the process of adopting two baby boys from Haiti while still living in Chile - it is long, and hard, but we are anxiously waiting for them to come home! GOD bless,
